Lots of Updates

I am sorry I have done a terrible job of keeping up with this blog. There have been lots of changes since I last updated.

Kathleen, Amanda, & Sargent's families found them! Kathleen's family is traveling now and will be meeting her in the next couple of days--and they are also adopting another little girl "Gayle!"--Kathleen will have a sister!

Anna is no longer listed on Reece's Rainbow. I will be changing out the photos of the children and adding one of my other prayer warrior children to this blog as well. I will also put the children's family sponsor buttons on this page.

So--please stay tuned! There is so much more to come!!!

Kathleen has a family!

Exciting news! Kathleen has a family! Since her story is now theirs to tell, I will direct you to their blog. However, if there is a fundraiser or some important prayer request, I will definitely post it here. And now, introducing the family that gets to bring this beautiful baby girl home: The Kimble Family!

Sargent Update!

This post is dedicated to Sargent!

How adorable is he? This new picture was taken just last month!

You can read all about him and donate to his adoption grant HERE

Sargent is five years old, and is supposed to transfer to an institution later this year. This is a horrible fate for any child. For this reason, I would like to see his grant built up. He is such a cute little guy--and he desperately needs a family! He only has $5 in his fund. While children with small grants can be and are chosen for adoption, the children with the large grants have a higher success rate at finding families. Help save Sargent!

My apologies!

I have been neglecting my blogs...and I apologize for that! All five children still need prayers for them to find their forever families! For any of you who thought about donating to Anna, the donation link never did work. I cannot find her listed anywhere on the RR site either. I am not sure why, and need to inquire. Until then, please continue to pray for her.

I may be adding another boy to the site as well who needs prayers and someone to advocate for him.

Happy Valentine's Day--for Anna

Well...I need to get better at this blogging thing--but I am in the midst of a super crazy month--so--one post at a time. I am committed to this blog until these 5 babies come home to their families! So far none of them have committed families. Amanda has a Valentine's Warrior...not sure whom it is. Kathleen, Amanda, and Nana each have $1000 or more in their grants. Sargent has just $5. However, Anna has nothing in her grant. She is listed at the very bottom of the page. She turns five later this year and it would really be wonderful for her to have a family committed to her by then. There is just something precious about her little face. Single moms can even adopt her. Yes, I am single...but need to get my own place first--but I do see adoption in the future for me :).

In honor of Valentine's Day, could you show Miss Anna that she is not forgotten? Even those little gifts add up. People tend to choose the babies who have the big grants--not always--but it will certainly increase the likelihood that Anna will be chosen. Even if you cannot donate right now, could you please write about Anna on your blog? Maybe together we can get the word out and Anna's family will find her. Please click HERE to donate to Anna.

Finding the Missing Pieces

This is my newest blog dedicated to finding forever families for five of the children listed on Reece's Rainbow.

I chose the title, "Missing Pieces" as there are families out there who are missing an important piece--their child. I wanted to go with a puzzle theme for the blog, but could not find a design that looked right...so I picked this pretty design to use for now.

I signed up to be a prayer warrior through Reece's Rainbow and was matched with Anna and Sargent. Anna is four and has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Sargent is three and has Cerebral Palsy. The other three children I sponsored through the Reece's Rainbow Angel Tree this Christmas. Amanda is two years old, Kathleen is three, and Nana is two. All three girls have Down Syndrome.

I plan to post here often to let people know about these kids, their various special needs, and to encourage people to pray for them, advocate for them, donate to their adoption grants, and to adopt them if the Lord leads.

I will have buttons that you can add to your blog as well. Right now, Sargent is the only child who has a grab button...code available at the Reece's Rainbow button blog - look under the tab "Warrior Buttons" and please add Sargent to your blog.
